High expectations were set for Kyrie Irving the instant he was traded to Boston. So far, Kyrie Irving is averaging 20.3 points 5.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds on 44% shooting in just 31 minutes per game. But Kyrie Irving's impact goes past the stat sheet. Defensively Irving is only 2nd behind teammate Terry Roizer in defensive rating, he also is 4th in the NBA in steals, which is something many thought to be a weakness coming to Boston. It is evident that Al Horford is playing much better with Kyrie Irving, Horford is averaging 15.2 points and 8.7 rebounds on 55% shooting and nearly 50% 3ptFG. The chemistry between the two is proving to be clicking and with the additional help by young rising stars Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Terry Roizer. Celtics are off to a hot start.
