After the Thunder acquired superstars Paul George and Carmelo Anthoney for a bag of chips. One can't help but wonder did the Celtics give up a bit too much for a player even as talented as Kyrie Irving. Boston Celtics sent Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and BKN unprotected first round pick in exchange for Kyrie Irving, in the long run this deal should turn out as a fair trade for Boston considering Kyrie's talent at just age 25, but Timberwolves acquired Jimmy Butler for Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn which makes Celtics fans think why didn't Danny Ainge pull the trigger? Danny Ainge has always been one of the better GMs, and Celtics fans need to trust his vision, but there is no doubt that the Boston Celtics could've had a superteam of Butler, George and even more if Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics front office wanted to.
