In a Spanish media A La Carla, Marc Gasol expressed his interest in leaving the Memphis Grizzles, if Grizzles fail to grow as a franchise.

Who is Marc Gasol?

Marc Gasol was originally drafted 48th pick overall by the LA Lakers then traded immediately to the Grizzles. Marc Gasol turned into a star Center in the league, showing so far no signs of slowing down. At age 32, Gasol had a career season averaging 19.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

What is Marc Gasol's game?

For those of you who are not familiar with Marc Gasol's game, he plays very similarly to Al Horford, both great passers, good defenders, with scoring abilities (though Marc Gasol is a proven better scorer), both added the 3pt shot to the game but are poor rebounders.

How does Marc Gasol fit?

If Marc Gasol wants out, which seems considerable likely as Grizzles are projected to be one of the teams fighting for the 8th seed in the west, Celtics have been long rumored to show interest in the star Center, having the players/picks to complete a trade. This could be a perfect fit for Boston, at age 32, Marc Gasol's trade value would still be high, but it wouldn't be a kings ransom. Marc Gasol would give the Celtics a true Center and will boost the defense in the paint, and move Horford to power forward, which his has shown to be more comfortable at. If Gasol makes his way to Boston, a starting lineup of Thomas, Hayward, Horford and Gasol could just put them over the top or at least the same level as the Cavs or Warriors.

Right now, all this is just speculation, but if in the near future Boston Celtics could acquire Gasol, the Boston Celtics chances at a title could increase massively....watch out NBA!
