Celtics Sign Second Round Pick Jabari Bird

The Final Spot of the complete 18 man roster of the Boston Celtics, will be filled by 56th pick Jabari Bird. Jabari Bird will signed to a two way contract, meaning Bird will be able to play a maximum 45 NBA games and will spend most of the season in the NBA G-League. Jabari Bird preformed well averaging 10.0 points per game, 4.0 assists per game, shooting 61.1% from the field in Las Vegas Summer League. Bird is not expected to log much minutes, and will mostly play in garbage time for the Celtics, but Bird will provide some depth at shooting guard, and could become a good asset to develop over time. Bird has a good size at 6'6 feet, equipped with above average athleticism, and is a good three point shooter.

Maybe Jabari Bird will prove himself to be a steal for the Boston Celtics. Though we'd know something for sure, he wouldn't be the first "Bird" to find success in Boston.
